Marketing Representative MR – Kerjaya Terbaik Bidang Pelaburan Dan Kewangan

Salah satu kerjaya alternative selain dari Unit Trust Consultant (UTC) adalah Marketing Representative iatu short form nya ialah MR.
Jika sesiapa terfikir mahu memulakan kerjaya sebagai UTC, maka anda perlu consider MR kerana MR mempunyai advantage nya yang tersendiri.

Lesen UTC ini dikeluarkan oleh FIMM yang mana product pelaburan tersebut adalah dibawah seliaan Securities Commission.
Manakala lesen MR pula dikeluarkan oleh SC.
Selama ini jika kita lihat, UTC akan mamasarkan product investment dari single fund house sahaja, contoh nya seperti Public Mutual, CIMB CWA, Eastspring Investment dan lain-lain lagi. Manakala terdapat juga UTC yang memasarkan product pelaburan unit trust dari single license investment seperti Phillip Mutual Berhad.
Saya ada sentuh mengenai single license investment ini di blog saya:
Satu kelainan MR (boleh dikira keistimewaan pada saya) berbanding UTC adalah, ia mempunyai kapasiti untuk memperkenalkan (introduce) product pelaburan yang hanya dibenarkan kepada Licensed Financial Planner (LFP). Contohnya, jika anda UTC dari Public Mutual tetapi berminat juga untuk memasarkan produk dari Phillip Capital, maka UTC tersebut boleh ambil MR dengan Phillip Capital.
Walaubagaimana pun ia terhad kepada referring sahaja dan begitupun juga anda layak untuk mendapat komisyen sebagaimana komisyen yang diterima oleh LFP.

Marketing Representative (MR) means a person who acts as an introducer for a principal, undertakes marketing of the services, provides client support services and is registered with the principal under these Guidelines – SC Document
MR ini juga digunakan untuk menjadi wakil kepada remisier dibawah Mplus. Tak pasti saya untuk syarikat-syarikat selain Mplus.
Bagaimana untuk mandapatkan lesen MR?
* Anda dikehendaki menghadiri program “Familiarization Programme For Marketing Representative” di SIDC dengan fee sebanyak RM1100 (tidak termasuk sst).
      Program ini dijalankan selama dua hari. Hari yang terakhir akan ada assesment and dikehendaki lulus assessment tersebut.
      Bayaran fee di atas hanyalah sekali sahaja (tiada tahunan). Program ini dijalankan 3 bulan sekali jadi jika berminat kenalah register secepat mungkin.
      Di sini adalah jadual nya.
* Berumur sekurang-kurang nya 21 tahun.
* Pemegang Ijazah atau kelayakan professional atau diploma dari insitusi pengajian kerajaan Malaysia.

Sebanyak 30 jam CPD diperlukan. CPD ini boleh diperolehi dari program FIMM, SC, BNM dan juga anjuran AFA. Terdapat program yang sama juga bagi financial planner, UTC dan juga ejen takaful.
